2026 Baylor University Summer Organ Camp
The 2026 Baylor University Summer Organ Camp, which took place June 21–27, brought together ten high school students from across the United States for an intensive week of daily private organ lessons, workshops on improvisation, harpsichord, organbuilding, and healthy practice habits, along with visits to the carillon and swimming pool.
Following faculty recitals by Chase Douthit, a member of The Diapason’s 20 Under 30 Class of 2025, and Jens Korndörfer, associate professor of organ, the week concluded with a concert given by the campers on the four-manual Petty-Madden organ in Jones Concert Hall.
The next camp is scheduled to take place June 20–26, 2027, and applications will open in February 2027. For information: music.baylor.edu/organcamp.
