Hillary Guttman is appointed associate acoustician for Scott R. Riedel & Associates, Ltd., Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Guttman is a 2002 graduate of the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland, where she received her master’s degree in acoustics and audio. She assists lead acoustician Craig Schaefer with data compilation, analysis, and report writing. She has experience performing on-site acoustical testing, as well as acoustical calculations and computer aided modeling.
The Riedel portfolio includes the acoustic design of over 1,000 sacred worship spaces and organs, as well as consultation on auditorium, music rehearsal room, and studio acoustics. Non-religious related projects also include sound quality and noise control design for residential, commercial, and manufacturing facilities.
