Carol Williams to Hull City Hall, UK

Carol Williams is appointed Hull City Hall Organist, Hull, UK, where she follows in the footsteps of John Scott Whiteley. This is her second position as a civic organist, the first being San Diego, California, where she was named Civic Organist Emerita. 

Hull City Hall possesses the third largest concert hall organ in the UK, built in 1911 by Forster and Andrews. The hall seating 1,200 persons was designed by Joseph H. Hirst and constructed between 1903 and 1909. Williams will expand the already established organ showcase series.
