The Association of Anglican Musicians (AAM) announces the Church of the Incarnation, Dallas, Texas, as the host of its 2026–2027 Gerre Hancock Internship.
The internship was established to create full-time mentoring opportunities for young church musicians who demonstrate a strong interest in the music and worship of the Episcopal Church. This annual internship is jointly funded by AAM and the host institution and offers the intern ten months of practical experience through intense and formative work as part of a music program.
The 2026–2027 intern will be mentored by Christopher Jacobson, director of music and organist, Owen Reid, associate director of music and organist, and Rachel Jones, music administrator, gaining experience in service playing, choral conducting, and music administration.
Application deadline is February 1.
