Philip Crozier, one of the last organ students of the late André Marchal (1894–1980), is in the process of releasing recordings of his lessons with the teacher on YouTube.
Crozier took private lessons with Marchal from 1978 to 1980, initially in London, and then at his home in Paris from February 1979 to July 1980. The Paris lessons were recorded on cassette tapes. The first recording has been released, focusing on “Choral in E Major” from César Franck’s Trois Chorals.
