Scott H. Atchison retires
Scott H. Atchison retired September 13 as director of music and organist at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church, Atlanta, Georgia, after more than four decades of service.
Singers, musicians, colleagues, friends, and members of this congregation gathered for a tribute concert not only to honor his career, but also to celebrate the shared work he has inspired and his contribution to the organ community.
Atchison is now the artist-in-residence at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Atlanta.
