The 25th International Carillon Festival will take place May 22–25 at the Thomas Rees Memorial Carillon, Springfield, Illinois. The event will feature guest carillonists Jeremy Chesman (Missouri), Kim Schafer (Illinois), Toni Raats (the Netherlands), and Wim Van den Broeck (Belgium), with resident carillonist Carlo van Ulft.

Each evening’s program will begin at 6:00 p.m. with performances by local musicians, followed by carillon concerts at 6:30 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. A highlight of this year’s festival includes a book reading by author D. R. Ransdell, whose novel Carillon Chase is inspired by the International Carillon Festival. The festival will introduce a full performance of Music for the Royal Fireworks by Georg F. Handel, scheduled before the annual fireworks display on May 23.
