New book, Jehan Alain, by Aurélie Decourt-Alain
The Leupold Foundation announces a new book, Jehan Alain (LE800096, $79), by Aurélie Decourt-Alain, translated into English by Lynne Davis Firmin-Didot.
The author, a French musicologist, niece of Jehan Alain, and daughter of Marie-Claire Alain, has spent her career detailing the life of her musical family. The book was originally published in French. Chapters detail Jehan Alain’s biography, correspondence, drawings, and poetry, rounded off with several appendices.
