Michael Delfín recently performed solo multi-keyboard recitals for the Tuscaloosa (Alabama) Music Club in January and Musica Maxima in Beloit, Wisconsin, in March. He played continuo with the Alabama Symphony and will perform with Music City Baroque in Nashville in May. With Cincinnati-based Seven Hills Baroque, Delfín performed in St. Augustine, Florida, for St. Anastasia Catholic Church’s “And Let There Be Music” concert series. He recently co-founded Bama Baroque, which gave its inaugural concert at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa in March; the program included J. S. Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 5.

This summer Delfín will join the Spoleto Festival USA in Charleston, South Carolina, as chorus pianist and harpsichordist for Bach’s Mass in B Minor. He is a member of The Diapason’s 20 Under 30 Class of 2021 and is a contributing editor for harpsichord.
