First International Organ Competition of Korea

The First International Organ Competition of Korea will take place September 19–26 at the Korea National University of Arts and Lotte Concert Hall, Seoul, Korea.

The competition is open to organists born after September 1, 1988.

The jury consists of Ja-Kyung Oh (Korea, president), Michel Bouvard (France), Arvid Gast (Germany), Naomi Matsui (Japan), Dong-Ill Shen (Korea), and David Titterington (United Kingdom).

First prize is $8,000; second prize is $5,000; third prize is $3,000; there are two additional prizes of $1,000 each. Deadline for application is April 30.

The Lotte Concert Hall houses a Rieger organ of four manuals and 68 stops.
