Bells and choirs, scripture lessons and carols capture the excitement of Advent and the wonder of Jesus’ birth, making for a spirited and spiritual start to the Christmas season.
A prize-winning French composer and organist, Escaich, who succeeded Maurice Duruflé as organist at St. Etienne-du-Mont in Paris and tours internationally as an artist and composer, will dazzle at our magnificent Rieger organ.
Featuring Evan Ocheret, oboe; Frances Tate, flute; Elizabeth Thompson, cello; and Jeffrey Brillhart and Edward Landin playing BMPC’s William Dowd French double harpsichord. Free-will offering.
