Schoenstein & Co. Opus 187

Ken Cowan performs Sigfrid Karg-Elert's evocative tone poem, Stimmen der Nacht, opus 142, no. 1, on the new Schoenstein  & Co. Opus 187 at Saint Philip’s Episcopal Church in Coral Gables, Florida.

The new organ comprises three manuals and pedal, 29 voices, 34 ranks, 2,105 pipes.

The instrument was introduced to the parish on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026, and will be dedicated on September 26 and 27 with a recital by Robert McCormick followed by a festive choral service.
