The Church Music Week festival in Neuss, Germany, announces its third International Organ and Song Competition, September 5–8.
Awards will be: first prize €3,000, second prize €1,500, third prize €1,000. Criteria include technical and musical skill, and creativity in designing a program to suit the town’s various churches and organs, as well as the artistic individuality of the contestants.
Applications for organists and vocalists are due June 30 and may be requested by e-mail: [email protected].
