John Anthony Steppe, of Guzowski & Steppe Organbuilders, Fort
Lauderdale, Florida, died on Friday, Oct. 14, of leukemia.



A man of many talents, John was an artist, a great cook, and possessed a rich baritone voice. His dream to be an organ builder came true when he, Walter Guzowski and Christopher Kane established Guzowski and Steppe Organbuilders, Inc., in 1983. His passion and love of the organ was evident in every instrument he dealt with. John Anthony Steppe
Steppe, John Anthony, February 3, 1954 - October 14, 2005. John ended a year-long battle with cancer October 14. A man of many talents, John was an artist, a great cook, and a consummate singer possessing a rich baritone voice. But his true passion and dream was to be an organ builder. This dream came true when he, Walter Guzowski and Christopher Kane established Guzowski and Steppe Organbuilders, Inc., in 1983. His passion and love of the organ was evident in every instrument he dealt with. He is survived by his mother, Sonia Bobo, of Neptune, NJ. Countless friends will miss his exuberant personality, acutely wry sense of humor and delight in things musical.He is survived by his mother, Sonia Bobo, of Neptune, NJ. A service of Christian burial will be held Saturday, October 29, at St. Gregory's Episcopal Church, 100 NE Mizner Blvd., Boca Raton, 5:00 p.m. Memorials suggested to St. Gregory's music ministry (address: P.O.
