A native of Massachusetts, Music at Trinity welcomes Wesley Hall in concert on our Noack Pipe Organ. Wesley Hall is a master’s student in historical performance at the Oberlin Conservatory where he studies organ with James David Christie and harpsichord with Webb Wiggins. He is presently organist at Bethesda-on-the-Bay Lutheran Church in Bay Village, Ohio.  Join us for a Spring afternoon concert including works by Georg Muffat, J.S. Bach, Felix Mendelssohn, Nicolaus Bruhns, J. P. Sweelinck, Vincent Luebeck.

The WPI Brass ensemble specializes in the performance of the great antiphonal music of the Gabrielis, as well as contemporary compositions for large brass organizations. In addition to touring in Europe, the Brass Ensemble has performed at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC, St. Paul’s Cathedral in Worcester, St. Columbkille’s in Brighton, Mechanics Hall in Worcester, and numerous other venues. Alta’s  unique sound and innovative programming has been delighting audiences throughout the Northeast for over twenty-five years. The members of Alta have continually expanded their collection of renaissance wind instruments to include about 30 recorders, 5 shawms, 5 dulcians, 2 flutes, 2 tabor pipes, 2 sackbuts, 4 crumhorns and a multitude of drums, tambourines and other miscellaneous percussion.
