Organ Music for Advent & Christmas

Organ works based on Advent and Christmas themes, chorales, and carols from many traditions make up an impressive and colorful body of organ literature. MAPC’s Director of Music will present some of his favorites in this pre-Christmas recital! His program includes chorale settings by Bach and Buxtehude; noëls by Daquin and Guilmant; and excerpts from Olivier Messiaen’s La Nativité du Seigneur.
