Richard Gray is appointed director of music and organist for St. John the Evangelist Episcopal Church, St. Paul, Minnesota, effective September 1.
He completed a year as the 2017–2018 inaugural organ scholar for St. George’s Episcopal Church, Nashville, Tennessee, where he worked alongside Woosug Kang, director of music ministries, and Gerry Senechal, associate director of music ministries, within the Anglican tradition.
Gray holds degrees in organ performance from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas, where he studied with Stefan Engels, and Oberlin Conservatory of Music, Oberlin, Ohio, studying with James David Christie.
