Greg Zelek to Madison Symphony Orchestra

Greg Zelek has been appointed principal organist for Madison Symphony Orchestra, Madison, Wisconsin, and curator of the Overture Hall concert organ, built by Orgelbau Klais. He succeeds Samuel Hutchison. The organ program of Overture Hall includes two annual recital series, a hymn- and carol-sing series, educational programs, and the Friends of the Overture Concert Organ, a 500-member organization that supports the program.

Zelek earned his Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees from The Juilliard School of New York, New York, and is presently completing work for the Artist Diploma there. He is currently music director and organist for the Episcopal Church of St. Matthew and St. Timothy in New York City. He is a member of The Diapason’s 20 Under 30 Class of 2016.
