Bach’s Organ World Tour

Lee Ridgway to Lead Bach's Organ World Tour

After leading the Bach’s Organ World Tour four times since the 2008 inaugural tour conceived with Dennis Hunt of Concept Tours, Bach scholars Quentin and Mary Murrell Faulkner have decided to take a break. They and Dennis have invited noted organist (and 2 time Bach Tour member) Lee Ridgway to lead the 5th tour, July 17 – 28, 2017.

Lee has been active as an organist, harpsichordist and choral conductor in the Boston area for more than 40 years, most notably at First Parish in Lexington for 25 years and Trinity Episcopal Church in Topsfield, MA. Lee has a bachelor's degree from the U. of Oklahoma with Mildred Andrews and master's degree in harpsichord from the New England Conservatory where he studied with John Gibbons.  He has performed on many historic organs in Europe, North America, and Mexico including the instruments on the Bach tour. He brings a detailed experience of the history, sound and quirks of playing these historic instruments of Bach's time. Tour participants will play many of the instruments Bach most admired.  There is still space available.

Please contact Concept Tours at www.concept-tours.com before March 15.
