A Beginning Keyboard and Pedal Method for the Organ
The Discover the Organ® beginning keyboard and pedal method for the organ, published by Wayne Leupold Editions, Inc., now provides an opportunity for upper-elementary and middle-school students to study the organ at much earlier ages than in the past.
This year's tour, number 49 led by Marilyn Mason, chair of the organ department at the University of Michigan, brought us to new and unexplored regions of Spain and France. We had the opportunity to sample the rich organ heritage of the Basque region, a place where both Spanish as well as French organ traditions melded.
