The Holtkamp Organ Company, founded in 1855, is the oldest pipe organ building company in North America. Since its inception it has grown to be recognized as one of the most respected builders in the United States. It is known for excellence in visual design, detail in voicing, and reliability of mechanism. It is a shop of twenty craftsmen experienced in every aspect of pipe organ building. The size of the shop is ideal, as it’s large enough to allow for specialists in each area of pipe organ building, while being small enough for direct oversight by Mr. Holtkamp.
