Newtown Requiem by Joe Utterback, is dedicated to “the loved ones of Sandy Hook Elementary School.”
It consists of “Balm in Gilead” for baritone, SATB, flute, piano; “We Are Not Alone”, a gospel setting for tenor, choir ensemble, piano, and possible guitar; “Requiem Aeternam” for soprano, alto, SATB, flute, piano; and “Dona Eis Pacem” for young soprano and flute.
