Kola Owolabi has recorded four suites from the Second Livre d'Orgue by Jacques Boyvin on a new CD released on Raven OAR-997 (www RavenCD.com) in June, 2017.
He plays the 1732 Andreas Silbermann organ in Ebersmunster, France, at the Abbey Church of St. Maurice.
Kola Owolabi is associate professor of organ at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
The Suites are on those on the first, third, fifth, and eighth tone, and each is comprised of six to eight pieces, for a total of 26 pieces on the CD.
