Chautauqua Institution organ DVD

Frederick Rueckert announces the release of "Between the Motion and the Music," a limited edition DVD that documents  the 1992–1993 reconstruction of the Massey Memorial Pipe Organ by the Fischer Pipe Organ Company. This unique instrument is located on the grounds of the historic Chautauqua Institution in upstate New York, and was built in 1907 by the Warren Church Organ Company  of Woodstock, Ontario, Canada: four manuals, 93 ranks, 5,640 pipes.

The documentary was created by Frederick Rueckert, a Rochester Institute of Technology film student, and also includes the 2003 addition to the instrument of a 32' Bombarde stop, which was donated to the Chautauqua institution by the Rueckert family in memory of his grandparents.
