Internationally acclaimed organists Cherry Rhodes and Ladd Thomas will receive the 2015 American Guild of Organists' Distinguished Artist Award at the First United Methodist Church of Glendale on April 17 at 7:30 p.m. The honorees will perform an organ recital that will include a rare duet version of "The Sorcerer's Apprentice." A gala benefit reception follows at the Hilton Los Angeles North/Glendale Hotel. Tickets: $150 (advance purchase) for the recital and reception; $20 (at the door) for the recital.
