Grenzing organ inauguration Radio France, Paris

The new Grenzing organ at Radio France, Paris, will be inaugurated May 7, 8, and 9, in a series of concerts for solo organ, organ and choir, organ an orchestra, and organ with silent film.

The new instrument comprises four manuals, 87 stops, and 5,320 pipes. It features two consoles: a mechanical-action console with suspended tracker action, and an electric action console, with tracker touch.

The organ commission: Michel Bouvard, Thierry Escaich, François Espinasse, Bernard Foccroulle, Olivier Latry, Jean-Pierre Leguay.

Performers include Michel Bouvard, François Espinasse, Jean-Pierre Leguay, Thierry Escaich, Olivier Latry, Shin-Young Lee, Thomas Ospital, Freddy Eichelberger, Juan de la Rubia, Pascale Rouet, and more.
