Welcome to THE DIAPASON eNEWS.

In this issue we note the passing of organbuilder Georg Steinmeyer and of organist and teacher Paul Jordan. Organ-building news includes a fire at the workshop of J. Allen, an open shop at C. B. Fisk for its new organ for Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Southern Pines, North Carolina, the renovation of the Möller organ at Trinity United Church of Christ in Saxton, Pennsylvania by Patrick Murphy, a recording of Parkey Opus 14, and a contract for David E. Wallace.

Other personal news includes appointments—Andrew Yeargin to the Church of the Holy Trinity in New York City and Ben Selby to Oxford University Press—along with Leonardo Ciampa’s rededication recital of Ryder Opus 180 in Westborough, Massachusetts, and completed work: The East Texas Pipe Organ Festival recording by Ken Cowan, and Joe Utterback’s new duet, Balboa Bolero.
