March 18, 2020

Casavant Frères, Opus 2408, built in 1957, 2 manuals, 7 ranks, 499 pipes.

Chamber/Box dimensions:
Depth: 110”, minimum (measurement includes expression shades in full open position)
Width: 114”, minimum
Height: 107”, minimum

Note: the present installation utilizes a chamber space that has a full wall on one side (with an access door from an adjoining room), a full wall at the back of the instrument, and a wall on the second (to the left, as you view the organ from the gallery) side that is approx. 2/3 the depth of the organ. The remaining portion of the second side’s wall and the “front” are part of the wood structure that contains the expression shades. The chamber/box has a flat ceiling that is a part of the building’s structure (thus, the 107”, minimum, for the height, as some pipes are mitered).
