Tom Trenney returns for Friends of the Kotzschmar Organ's Halloween Silent Film Night to accompany the German Expressionist film Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror. Released in 1922 as the first film adaptation of Bram Stoker’s Dracula (with names changed due to studio copyright issues), Nosferatu is as haunting as they come and is still recognized today as one of the most chilling vampire films of all time.

Known for his engaging improvisations on hymns, submitted themes, silent films, scripture, poetry, and artwork, Tom Trenney became the first organist to be awarded First Prize and Audience Prize in the American Guild of Organists’ (AGO) National Competition in Organ Improvisation in 2006.
