Described as “one of the most talented and interesting artists of his generation,” Matthew Daley is one of today’s finest young artists. Skilled in everything from Classical to Gospel and Jazz, Mr. Daley was the Silver Medalist in the 2009 National ACT-SO Classical Instrumental Music Competition, the first prize winner in the 2010 University of Maryland Repertoire Orchestra Concerto Competition, and a Finalist in the 2011 University of Maryland Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition, the 2011 Schlern International Music Competition and the 2014 Brevard Music Center Concerto Competition. Mr. Daley’s musical journey has led him to perform in many unforgettable concerts in some of the world’s most prestigious venues including Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall with John Rutter, the Kennedy Center Millennium Stage, the Kennedy Center Concert Hall with the National Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Christoph Eschenbach and Helmuth Rilling, and the White House for President and Mrs. Barack Obama.
