Music Director and Organist

Elm Park United Methodist Church in Scranton, Pennsylvania, seeks two positions: part-time Director of Music, and part-time Organist/Accompanist. The Director of Music plans and implements a comprehensive music ministry for our choir, children’s choir, bell choir and chimes choir. The Organist/Accompanist plays during the Sunday worship service and choir rehearsals one day per week. Our organ, Reuter Opus 2179, has 3,015 pipes (53 ranks), and was removed, reworked, and reinstalled in 1995–96. We are also blessed to have a Steinway & Sons concert grand piano.
